Hello everyone,
This is the first time I have joined any forum. Glad I chose this one. I am getting ready to redo the the landscaping in the front yard. In order to do so we need to remove some agapanthus(sp?) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to bring this one back to the top too!!

Anyone grow Agapanthus???

We are a friendly group here,
I personally don't grow your plant,
although, it's one of my all time favorite
plants, and on my wish list!!
(wrong zone here)
Absolutely a nice flower!!!!

But I'm hoping someone will swing
through who grows this and will
give you some pointers!!!!

Agapanthus grows from tuberous roots that can be dug up once the plant goes dormant in the winter. Store the roots in a dry location at 40 - 50 degrees F. and replant them in the spring.

Agapanthus don't like their roots disturbed and may not bloom very well until the plants re-establish themselves and the roots begin to get crowded again.
