Hello All smile I'm new to the forum and I have been gardening ever since I was little with my mom. It seems to run in the family. My grandmother, dad's mom, did some gardening especially with violets, I've heard she grew the most beautiful violets, unfortunately she died before I was born. for the longest time my mom had what we called a black thumb! ha ha. She even managed to kill a 30 year old Aloe Vera plant that was my grandmothers! smile Now she is much better and actually landscaping much of the 3 acres she shares with my dad. growing up I did my share of gardening from decorative to the average country vegetable garden. Now that I'm on my own I do container gardening just to add some color and joy to my patio and my day. smile That's pretty much it. I have a husband that humors my need to garden and a cat that puts up with it as long as I grow catnip. smile

wavey , PlantFaerie! Those with the green thumbs on here are teaching those of us without (ME!) how to keep our plants alive. I think you will fit right in here and I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do!
