How would I make out with Manhot in Toronto, Canada - 6a?

Would I be able to leave them in the ground over winter?

usa all you have to do is go to the picture that you want to post and right click on it and go to properties. and box will pop up and it'll have a all kinds of things. it will say protocol, type, address (url),size, dimensions. you'll see an address beside the part that says address(url). you want to copy that address and then come back and click on the full reply form button and then a page will load and then there'll be a little button at the bottom of the little white box that you type in that says image. you'll want to click on that image button and then a little box will come up in the upper left corner of your screen. there'll be a white box that you can type in. it'll already say something like http:// you'll wanna delete that and paste the link that you copied and hit ok. then type what you want to type after that window has entered the little code and then post it and it'll be there! sorry if this was to confusing (I'm not very good at explaining things...I hate to be with the person to show them lol) if you don't understand something then ask and somebody might be able to help you better :-) and welcome to the forum!

Those are great Mary!

Love your lantana too. My mom used to ahve that all around the pool in CA. Does it overwinter well or will you start from seed. I may have to add some of that to next years garden. The purple lantana is so pretty too.

MissJamie, webshots is funny like that.. they let you put your photos there & share them, but a direct link to a picture is a no no. They don't let it go thru, just like yahoo (another I used to use a lot before they did that.) Thank goodness for photobucket. wink

Triss, it's supposed to be an annual here in zone 6. It's hard to find seed on it - at least I haven't been able to catch any 'berries' yet. I saw one forming, but that was the last time I saw anything resembling that berry. The plan is to mulch well and cross my fingers! I never saw a purple one - bet those are gorgeous!

I am guessing I would have a pretty hard time with them in zone 5 then. Darn! I hope they come back strong for you. You have to get purple though. They are stunning!

Here is the miniature rose that I bought at the grocery store. Hopefully it decides it likes it's new home.

Ohh that is awesome looking Lynne. Does "ornamental" mean those are not edible peppers?
