It's a water-fall fountain, so the water is constantly moving. What plants can I put in there?
It would have to be something that doesn't require full sun, because the fountain gets about 3 or four hours of full sun per day.

I was at a green house on Saturday and they had this cool looking plant that has air bladders on it's stems. I don't know if it gets a bloom tho. Anyways, it just floats around on the top of the water and is held up by the air bladders. Its pretty cool..........although I forgot to look at the name of the plant. :rolleyes: ...sorry

A-ha! They were water hyacinths!!! thanks to plants-n-pots because she posted a question about them with a picture and I recognized them.

This is my first time with these and I also think they are pretty neat. I know they are invasive and illegal in some states (not here because they aren't hardy here), but I only have a small amount for now and hope they bloom for me. I can see little bits of new growth starting on them already, which is fine with me, as I'm setting up another small fountain and would like to put some in there also.

Are you specifically wanting plants that can be fully submerged, or just grow in the water?
