Ok now that I have a good start on the stump project. I am now turning my attention to the next item on my list. This is a spring in the far edge of my back yard.

At first I was thinking bog garden. Now I am thinking sort of a natural stream look. I can't dig out for a pond here so that is not an option.

Look at the one wild willy built. It's right up against a tree too. It looks great.

To the left is the best garden area on the place and sub irrigated due to the springs. If I dig a pond, I lose the garden.

"sub irrigated" my brain refuses to process tonight.

I liked Willy's because I thought it looked like a stream lol. Well so I'm blind along with everything else. At least I remembered there was a tree near by.

Can you just mush some rocky gravel in and maybe add some bigger rocks around the edges so it's more noticable without doing any of the liner type stuff?

sub-irrigated means I have a built in underground watering system. The garden area (which at the moment has 3 tomatoes and a marigold) never has to be watered!!! You don't want to mess with Mother Nature! I guess I still had "pond" stuck in my head. I will go look at Wild Willie's "stream".
