I can't answer your basil Duh cause i can grow it outdoors year round.but it does get kinda shabby looking in july aug...from the hades of he## heat we get.
tomato plants still doing good still green but i think i see a hint of change.my neighbor across says it looks good.he said it is alMOST on his property.i think if he don't mind may grow there next year.he noticed its growing in a pile of ashes from my burning pile so guess will stop putting them in road huh.farmers alamac puts my frost date as nov 24th.the lowest we have gotton is 42 but only for a few hours.once sun is up we warm pretty fast
