Some of you may recall the thread about weight loss that was floating around in the beginning of the year. Some people chose to put little weight tickers in their signatures and everything. You may have noticed that mine had conveniently disappeared....mostly because I wasn't really loosing weight the way that I wanted and then the accident happend and there was absolutely no exercising happening at all. Anyways, I was on Oprah's site a couple of weeks ago and saw that she had done her Boot Camp and thought that it looked like something that I might want to do. I wondered if there might be a few people on the forum who would like to join me....maybe make it a contest??? Here is a link to her Boot Camp page
Oprah\'s Boot Camp This is what I am doing...you can do the same as me or exactly what she has...or...you can use what she has as a basis for whatever you want to do.
What I'm doing...
1. Weighing myself (naked, of course)
2. Measuring my waist, bust, thighs (both of them), arms (both of them), and neck
3. Will try to follow the eating tips that she has on her website.
4. Will be doing the walking calendar under "the moves" section
5. Will try to lift some weights at least 3 times a week
6. I will weight myself once (and ONLY once) a week (probably on a Sunday evening)
7. Will be starting on Monday, April 25th.
8. Will re-measure myself every 30 days.
Anyone up for a challenge? A contest??
I'm sure we could do a thread just for us so that we can encourage eachother....couldn't we??...hostesses???
