G-Mom's Theme Song
(to the tune of Beverly Hillbillies)

Come and listen to my story 'bout a mom named Karen
Who had a little problem with her drinkin' and her swearin'
She spent a lot of time out workin' in her yard
Then she'd come in at night all worn out and tard

Well, Karen had a question 'bout some flowers she was growin' thumbup

She posted on the forum and played games late at night
while she drank her Zinfinsomething and got feelin' pretty right muggs
She met another member who was just about as nutty
and that's how Gardenmom became "The Dingbat"s Buddy".
(Two peas in a pod........Double trouble!) gab

Afgrey and G-Mom hit the Banter Hall half lit
They wrecked havoc on the forum, got off topic quite a bit
The hostesses gave warnings, but the two would just ignore 'em
No one was safe from the “Tag Team” of the forum.

Well, now it's time to say good-bye, G-Mom just got the call
She's meetin' afgreyparrot down in the Banter Hall
They'll try the hostesses patience and get this frown from Mr. Bill
They might not get *poofed* tonight, but I'm sure some day they will.

I don't imagine Mr. Bill would be kind enough to edit the
“Tag Team”
and the
Dingbat’s
in my song... Duh

I thought I fixed 'em all last night, but now my edit time is up.

That's cute, Grey Parrot - sometimes publications actually request poems and lyrics that are inspired by songs.

You might like the style of poetry called 'Gloss'. It comes from an Italian word . . . I'm going to introduce this style on another post.

What you do is take a famous poem/song or a stanza from one and work off its lines . . . I think this would be a good exercise for everybody.

See my post on this . . .
