My car is a 10 year old convertible. So the back window is plastic.

There is some kind of (calcium build up) Duh I dunno.

It is very hard to see out of.I've tried vinegar, ammonia, shocked CLR.

Nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?

I get this stuff called "Dip-It" at Kroger in the coffee aisle. It's for cleaning coffee makers, thermos bottles, plastic...
If you can find it, it might work. I've used it for all kinds of stuff.

I'll get a box next time I'm at Kroger and send it to you if ya want...
It's worth a try!

duckie, if your 15 year old is any thing like mine were, now you have a chauffeur every time you want to go to the store and everywhere else. laugh Mine would even do chores to get gas money to take me on rides! thumbup Hope you have good "nerves"! grinnnn

Cindy, will Dip It work on tomato sauce stains in plastic bowls? I will have to look for some.

A great way to save your plastic bowls from getting stained is to spray em with a bit of PAM or the like before putting the sauce in wink

Duckie...
We have 2 Kroger stores here, and neither one of them has the Dip-It.
I finally asked the Customer Service desk, and they don't carry it anymore because I was the only one that bought it.

I have a little bit left in a box...probably just enough for you to test a spot and see if it works.
Want me to send it to you?

I would make sure to wrap it well so no white powder spilled out of the envelope and caused a national emergency! laugh

If it works, you could order some...it's like 2 bucks for a box of it. Pretty cheap.
I had to order it once when I needed some and Kroger ran out. Guess I'm gonna have to order some more.....
