I found this "I've Got Cats" website not too long ago, found it after of my cats died a couple months ago. This is a fun song...

http://www.rickcowling.com/ivegotcats/
If you go here and click on a picture of an orange kitty (zeke), you can listen to the song.

A special human friend of mine died today.

Think of this song as a dedication to her...

To me she will always be synonymous with animals, especially cats.

R.I.P. - S.W.

It has been an honor...

You are sweet, Jimmy, thank you. luv

It was the call I have been dreading. She has been in and out of the hospital for several months.

I wish I wasn't across the country, but we moved last fall.

She has had health problems for a long time, she actually was not supposed to live to adulthood. (heart defect) And years ago, doctors told she could not ever have children, it would kill her. So I think the animals were her children.

If you were Sue's friend, it was because she grew to trust you. Animals she trusted, people not so much. We had something in common there.

Six years ago, I was trying to save a cat in my neighborhood, and ultimately, I found Sue. We bonded because of the animals. By the time she trusted me enough to share her health issues with me, it was too late, she was forever my friend.

I guess I don't know what else to say... I feel like I need to do something, I just don't know what right now.

Thank you~

You all are gentle and kind and very special gardening kindred spirits...

I have decided what I want to do, in remembrance of Sue, as a regular reminder to me of her spirit. I am going to start collecting items that are needed for local animal shelters, and I will donate the items in her name. I intend to make this at least an annual donation, in her name and memory.

I hope that you were able to go to the link and listen to the song. I really like it. Cats sure do take over our lives, I know they did for Sue. I don't think she could have had it any other way.

smile

luv
