Celosia (cockscomb) is a very interesting flower. There are many different varieties. Someone gave me a seed pod and it was no problem growing frowing from seed. One seed head produces 100's of seed. The celosia in his garden was multiplying from seed, but they didn't seem to be taking over his garden or anything. My plants are still young and i haven't put them out yet. I have yet to find a picture of the variety i have. The flower was definately an eye-catcher. It was "salmon" pink and it looked just like the comb of a rooster! Makes u want to walk up to it and touch it!!!
