Not all of the swirls are that intricate. That was just the first one that I did. My original plan was to do that with all of them, but by the time I was done with it, I decided they were going to all be different!
I have cute little patches on it also. A really nice butterfly, a monkey (I call it the buddha monkey b/c its' little tummy hangs out from it's shirt), and a little girl with fuzzy hair. I ironed them onto the quilt and then sewed them on also. I have 3 more patches to put on...2
flowers and one that says "dreamer" on it and have cute little beaded stars on it. I haven't worked on it since Thanksgiving, but I think I'm going to get it out tonight and work on it. June of 2006 is coming fast!!! :rolleyes:
The colors are so bright and cheerful.
