On the left of the shed,I have a 30x40 area for my veggies. I'm starting some more beds on the right side of the house and along the driveways.

Right now I only have tomatos, cucumbers, bell peppers and mexican chili peppers. I've tried(and occasionally succeeded) growing all kinds of veggies, lettuce, cabbage, sweet peas, green beans, strawberries, broccoli, eggplant, spinach, carrots, garlic and onions. Georges favorite "joke" is about when I grew corn...In a mobile home community shocked

I'll try and grow anything...I'm always looking for something new to try!

We hope to move to the country within the next five years...It will probably take me a week to move just my yard laugh

You have a similar taste for growing vegetables that Maxi has. This was the first year his vegetable garden didn't do so well simply because our weather didn't exactly cooperate.

Usually he grows brocolli, several varities of tomatoes, leaf lettuce, carrots, radishes, beets, pumpkins, eggplant, green bell peppers, cucumbers, a fine stand of sunflowers and lots of flowers. This year the harvest was best with tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and brocolli. Most everything else was disappointing for the child, but he still had much fun!

Next year I plan to be more of a help to him in the gardens because I am going to study that book I was given on Gardening with Disabilities and they had some interesting ideas for people in wheelchairs. Have any of you seen that book?

That looks excellent, G-mom! Good for you. Fixing up a place is a pain, but it's soooo worth it, isn't it?
