For those who are new here since I've been busy...Hello!

I have been VERY busy with the new house, and the new dog, and I'm taking classes to qualify for my Real Estate Broker's license...fun, fun, fun!!!

What have you all been up to? What did I miss?

whats new here?... lots, but probably the best thing for me is that my daughter has gotten over the wedding not being "good enough" and is now not only talking to me, but we are actually starting to like each other again!!

and... trying to get back into the posting... i had a very rough august, september and now october is trying to be a bear... but i just won't let it!!

congrats on the real estate thing, i know you will do great!! and congrats on the dog and house. how is percy?

and tell lefse that he is missed too. i know weezie is waiting for the gunnera report!!

Weezie...funny you should mention the horse blanket! Hehehe...I was just looking at it today thinking "good grief, that needs to be washed!" I saw a sign in the local dry cleaners that says they will wash them...I figure I will ask Mike if he wants to take it in...if he says no, well...guess it will have to fall into my truck, follow me home, and jump into the washer, the silly thing!

Percy is doing GREAT! Looks great, put on weight over the summer...now let's just hope that her hooves do better this winter, too!

The firefighter garden is now in the works...

Dad and my brother are LOVING the firefighting thing. I made the mistake of going to see that movie "Ladder 49" ... made me cry.

i am so sorry your mom was such a putz about your wedding, but it was beautiful anyway!! i kept alot of the ideas you sent me so i could share them with my younger daughter. she is already planning her wedding and she don't even have a fiance!

and you know, i forgot about percy's hooves. i hope they do better too! keep us posted, we've missed you!

I see the couch horse "Abigail" hasn't tromped the flower bed.

Well lets see. Got laid off. Got a new job. Went to Palm Springs. Bought a 17'Flatscreen LCD moniter for my pc. Now trying to sell old moniter.
Been dealing with plumbing problems. Now I got rain. SO glad landlord put a new roof on the place over the summer.

That's about it!!!

Hi Barley --so glad to see you back!!!!!!!!!! I hope everything goes okay with your real estate tests.....wow, they put in A LOT of work.......our agent showed us tons of houses and then we ended up buying a house sold by a private seller....... Felt bad for the lady, she didn't get paid for all the time she spent on us.......

Hope you get some unbusy time so you can come back and chat with us all more!
