Okay well the family joke was always that my mom would paint you if you stood still long enough...lol It has seemed to rub off on me....I paint whatever I can get my hands on....I use acrylic paints with a top coat of a clear coat for protection, and I have tons of bottles of paints, luckily my friend bought me a storage bag just for them last year....I'm always scavaging at yard sales to see what I can find to paint....either that or I am raiding the house for something to paint, or at wallyworld checking out the craft section.....

My 12 year old niece loves to paint with me....I buy little things we can paint and work on together....I have a huge cement wall that I am painting next spring and she is trying to convince me to paint a mural on it.....it would be fun, but it would take me a while....I have the Donna Dewberry painting books and they have helped me a lot as far as painting flowers and things go......

Painting relaxes me so much....it's my way of de-stressing if I need to......My husband knows me, and he knows I'm on the eternal hunt for things to paint in the house, he just lets me do what I want....gotta love him for that.... wink

If either of you Njoynit or Texas have some
projects you'd like to share, post them for us!!
I always like projects in the winter time to do.
I'm sure a few of the other gardeners/crafters
would like to hear about them too!!!

Tx,
I watch the QVC shopping channel
(a little too much some times!! laugh shocked )
But they have kits of Donna Dewberry,
not sure of all the prices on there,
but you can get some good deals on there,
if you know you're prices of local
things..........Hey, you never know!

I love to paint and draw too, but
with the boys and my mom, I'm kinda busy.
When they get bigger I'll go back to it....
