The Journal of Psychopharmacology found that vitamin C helps reduce cortisol levels during a stressful event, and returns your blood pressure and cortisol levels back to normal AFTER a stressful situation more quickly. So eat an orange to manage your stress (or any food high in vitamin C, like red or green bell peppers, broccoli, papaya, and strawberries).
