beautiful barb. what way is the pklant facing out on your porch?? and is it is full sun, full shade--partial of both??
Could/should I put mine out now??? I am thinking not as it would be a drastic change weather wise, huh???

BTW: the 3 Hoya starts that you sent to me are all doing well.--As are the Bromelaid starts. thumbup they are in the house getting west sun thru a glass sliding door that is covered by UVA block film

Thanks carol an tamara,

I will try to explain.
I have a 2 side porch , east an south ,L shaped.

--------------south
l
l
east side

Where the corner meets..........the space before the corner is the location.
Full roof on both sides. It gets all morning sun, no aternoon. Hanging basket .

I treat it like any other plant.

Carol, :ding:

Thanks for the update.
I figure with the young ones, just let them grow where they are .
Next year when sping is on, try hoya outside.

Good news, good news, the Hoya start that Barb ( Dodge) sent me before July of 2010 is doing well, growing like a weed AND I have 2 blooms. First time is 10 years ! If I can manage it I will add a photo of 2.

Yes, I to!d her straight away. She got photos first.

See, we keep the doors shut to the surface porch where they live, in the winter, and while it does not freeze out there, it does get pretty cold. I guess the Hostas like that. Now it is a lot of sun and very warm, unless the kids are over playing. Then the room gets A/C and the ceiling fan is on.
