I can't even imagine it being that cold. Where do homeless people go?
There are shelters in some parts of our province Bestofour but there is no need to be homeless in our province if one does not want to be.
There are social programs set up to keep you in a boarding house with a monthly check, to help you find a job or attend school....there are no homeless people in our area at all. We have a woman's shelter a 20 minute drive West of here and a men's shelter a 45 minute drive East of here as well but they are mainly used for abusive situations.
That being said, it is the poor animals here that bare the brunt of the cold....there are many homeless pets roaming around.
DH had to plug in the truck for the block heater to warm so that it would start. That means I will hide inside today.
