Please help! These things are constantly popping up in my flower garden. They smell like rotten flesh, and the flies LOVE them. I keep digging them up, only to find another one the next day. Is there any way to completely get rid of them or prevent them?

fungus?

The fungus is usually in the mulch. They don't harm the plants, but they look nasty.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
