Hey Dodge, that is a Tiger Swallowtail, how lovely. How many of them have you seen? If one will come, then more are sure to follow. I think you may have a great butterfly garden in the making. thumbup

We get lots and lots of those her in Pennsylvania......
Not rare here..
They love my flowers.....I attract all sorts of colors of butterflys .. Only one I got close to.. Blue ones and black ones and multiple colors.

Hey Dodge, you got a Hemi? We have a lot of those Eastern Tiger Swallowtails here in Tennessee, too. I get a lot of good photographs of them. They are fairly easy to photograph and always take spectacular pictures. We birders become insecters in the heat of Summer, when birds go dormant.

That's a beautiful photo, and you certainly have a photogenic butterfly there.....

I think that butterfly qualifies you for having a butterfly garden..... thumbup

I love taking photos of the butterflies too, they seem to play for the camera.......
