Looks like a mint family member. Do the crushed leaves have any odor? Do those buds open up any particular color? Like purple?

It looks minty to me too?????
Crush a leaf and smell it, maybe have someone else try to smell it too, sometimes a second nose works better, hahaha

Go see my mystery question 'This one?'
I think it's the same plant.

See? I'm wondering if it's a sunflower.

My husband says it's a weed. If it's not, let me know, because I pull these out quite often. :)

mel ....it doesn t smell minty, had my mom smell it, she says it doesn t smell much of anything...
carly, my fellow neighbour...i don t think yours is a sunflower, do it sure seems like one......someone told me it was a green amarath also called pigweed...could it be ?!...i did a reasearch on the green amaranth and it pretty much look like it....so if you want to know if yours ids a sunflower or an amarath...try looking it up...good luck.
so thanks everyone and have a good week.
