So today we stopped at this huge store that is owned by the parents of my childhood best friend. My old best friend works there and she was there today and it was nice to see her again.

This store is seriously amazing. You walk inside and they have a huge Koi pond, outside they have HUGE statues.....life size giraffes, elephants, horses, alligators, etc.

Inside they have so much stuff you don't know where to look, rooms and rooms of stuff. I wish I'd taken my camera. One room was FULL of life sized statues of people.....like John Wayne, Michael Jordan, Darth Vadar, Dracula, Frankenstein, Roman Knights, Cowboys, Indians.....literally crammed with about 200 of them.

The room before that had full sized Clydesdale horses pulling a wagon with people sitting in it. All fake of course.

I still can't believe it all. shock

Oooo, here's the website....they have pics of stuff on there. It's all mind blowing!

Shawnee Trading Post

So I ended up finding a statue I liked......to my surprise it was only 19.99 and it's really big! We get to the counter and everything in the store is 25 percent off so it was only 14.99. clap

Isn't it cute? I put a pen there to show how big it is.

There's one here in Toronto like that - up by my old family home - check here for pictures of it:

http://wildcity.proboards14.com/ind...=Travel&thread=1157335065&page=1

Those statues and our boy, Willy, aren't in competition with each other - they're all told different from each other.

I love yard art. My children have finally gotten the clue and give it to me once in a while. We have the metal knight standing at the top of our stairs. It scares the cr-p out of everyone the first time they notice it.
