These were NOT grown by me!
But I bought them at a local farmers market yesterday - I have NEVER seen such enormous radishes!!!

The white ball is a ping pong ball for size:

They are big, no doubt, but the key point is ... are they tasty!
And, as a sportsman, I'd say that you wouldnt get very far playing ping-pong with that ball - it's a golf ball!

lol hehehe...sorry loz but that was funny.

Those are good sized radishes even if it is a golf ball.

I have a question about radishes, white radishes as a matter of fact.

Mine are thin and I'm thinking it is because they went without water for about 10 days. If I leave them in the ground and water them everyday do you think they will get bigger around?

It is actually NOT a real golfball, but a plastic ball from the $1 store that had many in the bag without a name, and pingpong is what came to mind at the time . No biggie - you still get the idea about the size. thumbup

And yes... they were VERY tasty!

psssst - starfish -
I don't know why I thought pingpong ball instead of golfball, as both my parents are golf addicts!
It's just that I have an aversion to golf, as it was pretty much a way of life in our house growing up!
And the ball has the weight of a pingpong ball... lol ;) ... anywhooooooooooooo...

Have you seen the birdhouses and feeder my dad made from golfballs? why
