Ive discovered 4 tomatoes with blossom end rot
Im
growing Romas, which I understand get hit by this nasty problem.
Unfortunately, the bag of eggshells I collected to plant with my tomatoes to prevent this from happening sat under the kitchen sink. I was too lazy to move the black plastic mulch to put it in...and now, I have rot!!
So, I did put the eggshells in the ground now, about 1 egg's worth for each plant, and watered them with fish emulsion last night because I wanted to do SOMETHING!
Is there anything else I can do? None of the tomatoes out there now show signs of it, just the few I picked off already. Ive also thinned out some leaves for better circulation.
