Well one of my daylilies bloomed in the front yard, its a peach! Literally. This one is really a neat color to me. (Not sure which ones I transplanted up there so this is a nice surprise.)
[Linked Image]

My huge monarda bed is in full bloom, (its my freebee transplant I received from my mom.) grin
[Linked Image]

The daisy transplant she gave me, is blooming, but the blooms look crappy. Any ideas why?

Nice flowers. A bug may have chewed on the daisy bud before it opened fully giving it that ragged look.

Hanging basket is Akatsuki Mersaki
The JMG on birdhouse pole is asugo blue with white edge(I know.I scratched head on that too.looks purple)And now the variegated one that I know IS a blue has decided to sprout.Would be nice if the Double blue picotee would join in huh.The hex bed has filled in better now(cannas, some forest fire salvia, victoria salvia, banana plants(3 kinds) red cajian okra, brugmansia plants, orange profusion zinnias, crinuim, iris, purple passion, gladiolus, tarro, red stemmed EE,cleome,B&B salvia, red spider zinnias& red castor bean.
Caught some butterflys(and still chaseing that yellow fella)
I love the greens on the glorisia daisy.
The container on deck is crinuims, nasturuims(<a miricle..it scares me)1 claduim 2 orchid peacock glads& are a couple of red rain lillys(sept)and arrowroot vine(sometimes it gets loose some distance from its pot)
The rose is dreamward.I have buds on others.keepsake should be next.Oh and robe JMG is blooming but have not got picture yet

thats a bloom on the BABY.
I've took some MOT photos.you'll see sometime next week.that is the color of the blooms though, maybe a hair lighter in shadeing in the winter months.Mine sit in full sun on deck(well watered& multiplied of course).

Here is Robe JMG.

I might grow it on seedling pink next year. Its foliage is variegated also...a plus.It would maybe look better with less rain.....but we like the rain...less watering for me!

Photo of the front yard bed to the east of the front door, its a year older than the bed in front of the house. I have to move the Russian Sage, its getting squeezed and not growing to its potential. I ran out of extra topsoil today to amend the hole before moving. I will do that some other day. I am hoping that will help it take off next year and give it room to grow ginormous.

Is that Bishop's weed in the corner? I have it too and once it grows it chokes out everything. Very invasive and I can't rid of it now.

Yes, it came with the house. I keep it only in the corner, theres a bit of a ridge forming a mini bed and if it creeps out of that area, I just pull it. Only about a five minute job each year. I use a couple of squirts of roundup where I pull it to keep it back.
I was forewarned of its invasiveness so I practice tough love.

Oh, I love sunflowers. Mine are only a foot high, poor things have been rained out. lol

My Rugosa bush is so heavy with blooms, I had to stake it. I am amazed. It was just one of those $3 bushes in a bag from Wal-Mart planted last year.

I love the yellow sedum very pretty..think it'd choke weeds?

To me the heavenly blue seemed small this year and yes later blooming, but they look better now and is a few seeds I've sown that collected& those vines look healthier.

I collect my weeds in 5 gallon bucket or landry basket...and in the fall.....when doing cleanup...I use the trash can that I use for carrying compost, leaves what-have-you in the garden(also has holes in bottom,so handy when cleaning out pond too.submerge bucket...dump...got pond debree for compost!

I like the red sunflower.I've got moulin rouge sown, but not seen it yet.

I KINDA caught that yellow butterfly.I think he's a type of sulpher. If I could just fine a dead one!
