but i have no clue. and the foliage near it doesn't belong to it. it's foliage is the very skinny, strappy leaves that look like grass near it.

Do you have another pic of it? Is the color true in this view? What is the size of the bloom and plant? I could help find the name, but would need to know things like that about it.

Also, here is a site you can check out, it's all about daylilies: http://db.tinkersgardens.com/ VERY informative site!

the color isn't exactly true, i took the pic with my cell phone (which takes pretty good pics, all things considered.

the bloom is probably 4 inches across, and about that deep. definitely trumpet bell shaped. there were about 5 more buds hanging out around it (but i couldn't tell if they were from the same plant), and the bloom was about knee high.

i was going to dig up that garden because i thought everthing had bloomed already, but i guess not! blush i want to move all my bulbs, and i didn't want to weed lol

that's why i cant tell if the other buds are on the same plant, it needs weeded very badly.

Do you by chance have a digital camera? If not...is the actual color, pinker, bluer, or what? And it is a true green throat right?

Here are "most" of my current daylilies: http://groups.msn.com/LovingOurLife/daylilieshopefullyalphabetical.msnw?Page=1 but it doesn't look like one of mine. I'm looking in my encyclopedia's but not seeing an exact match right off. I'll check back to see on the coloring. grin
