Last year I grew some round yellow tomatoes for the first time - they are supposed to be about the size of a tennis ball. The plants grew extremely well, and there were lots of tomatoes forming. The day they were almost ripe enough to pick, the deer came overnight and got every single one!!!
There wasn't enough time for any more to grow last season. I was thrilled to see lots of baby plants sprouting this spring. I put a bunch of tomato stakes around the area, and so far, so good. I don't see any flowers on them yet, but the plants are looking healthy!
