My squirrel friend, Nick, chews the seed cups off all my tube feeders, AFTER she eats all the peanuts on my platform feeder.

Those naughty squirrels LOVE sunflower seeds, but are leaving the Safflower seeds alone. So for now my bird feeders will be filled with Safflower seeds. They keep pulling the plastic perches off to get at the seed.

I found that when the sunflower and other yummy seeds are gone the squirrels will eat safflower. I guess just cause its there. Its a more bitter seed than the sweet sunflowers.
