Hi. I'm a new gardner and I just purchased roll out lawn by
Then I read a poor review of them on

Has anyone had any experience with roll out lawns? Any feedback?

Does anyone have any recommendations of good companies that sell Roll out Lawn? And if so, any suggestions on planting them effectively.

The instructions say to not use soil or furtilizer- just lay on soil. Does this make sense?

Thanks so much.

Usually sod is laid on thoroughly prepped soil, just as though you were seeding a lawn. It needs about as much watering as seeding too to become established. You want those roots to go down into your soil. This could be a poor time of year for sod where I live in dry Ca. But might do better for you in New England.
