I just got a tray of plants from a grocery store - a buck each - it said 'snaps' on the tray.

They're not 'snapdragons' . . . is there a plant called 'snaps'?

Snap peas maybe?

But it doesn't look like something peas would grow on - it's wispy green with purple flowers.

I'll get a picture later.

Somebody told me last night there's a plant called 'schia . . . something'. And it's something like snapdragons - I dunno'.

These look like them but the stalks and flowers are kinda skinny.

They're kinda nice - a bluish purple and I like that wispy look in plants.

After I put them in, I'll take pictures.

It's actually Angelonia. They are often referred to as Summer Snapdragons.

Ohhhhhhhh! Well, now - it's nice to know for sure, ain't it?

Thank you so much.

Yes, they are a nice colour - I've planted them all since. I think they're going to do well.
