I had bought two perennial Black Eyed Susans at Wal Mart quite some time ago.. They aren't actually BES, they are some variety of Daisy it said on the tag, I just don't remember what kind.. but it LOOKS just like the Black Eyed Susan.. anyway, I had them in pots, for too long, waiting to plant them.. and one of them missed getting watered somehow.. for a few days I think.
Poor thing.. I got it in the ground, and it looked like it had some new growth starting, so I kept it watered really well and have been watching it.. I removed all the dead
flowers, stems and all that HAD been blooming on it.. hoping that would help. Well, it doesn't seem to be doing much. My question is.. will this come back next year and be fine or have I killed it altogether?
And might it even come back this year.?? Do I need to do something special for it? Thanks!!!
