This rose bush was there when i moved in, decided to let it grow and see what kind of rose it was. Killed some bugs it had and put some fertilizer; it started blooming, but the roses are brittle and only last about a day or two before its petals fall off, (even with the slightest movement). I wonder if maybe is just the way this type of plant is. What do you guys think??

In this pic the lower rose shows what i am refering to.

Some are just like that.I have masterpiece orchid& most times by the 2nd day the roses are potpourie on a stick.yours actually dies out better.my edges of petals will curl and be dried brownish.I have moved mine and it gets morning sun then shade rest of day.If I had a bloom last 3 days on masterpiece....I'd faint.MIL has red stripe.its petals fall apart within 2 days too.I don't really care for that one either.its last rose barely had any red.....and was gone the next day.Your foliage looks good though, that must have been what got it named.proably has good disease resistance.

Well i am relieved, if the roses are supposed to wilt in a couple a days i guess is healthy. i just have to do a lot more deadheading.
