Hi everyone. I thought some of you might be interested to have a look at the Royal Horticultural Society website www.rhs.org.uk which includes sections on topical help & advice, as well as a ‘problem solver’. There is also a link to the world's largest annual garden and flower show, which takes place each July in part of the grounds of Hampton Court Palace, near London. This is organised by the RHS and it opened today. www.rhs.org.uk/hamptoncourt/

Helping the world one seed at a time When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

Kennyso - I'm sure you'd be made to feel welcome!
But as for the meek possessing the earth, does that mean that people like me will have to switch to hydroponics?!

I'm going to England next June, specifically to tour gardens as well as touristy spots. I can't wait! :)

iheartflowers - You will love it! I dont want to become an unoffical tourist office but as a taster for the kind of fantastic gardens that you can look forwarded to seeing, have a look at: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-visits-garden_highlights.htm
