Are these considered succulents?
I want to split them and move them around in my rock garden, what is the proper way to do this?

Thanks!

I've seen them sold as succulents so I'd say yes.
I'm not positive on exactly how to split them, if they pull part easily or have to be cut why But if you remove a baby and put it where you want them to spread, be sure the roots are in soil and they should be good to go.

pretty much, that's it. you don't want to split a rosette, but taking any babies off will work fine.

you can stick the chicks pretty much any place cept damp or swamp in the spring so they get established before the summer drought sets in, very easy to do just cozy them into the soil and they will root and take off

Great! Thanks! I have some that I want to get well established before fall. Do I have to cover these with leaves or anything late fall? I am zone 4B I believe.
