Well some of you may or may not have read a few of my posts where I made reference to the literally hundreds of tadpoles I have in my pond.. well tonight, I was putting my mulch around the pond.. and I saw this little dear resting on a rock. At first I thought it was just one of the tadpoles out of the water somehow, but upon closer inspection, I saw his little head and legs.. so cute and tiny! I put my finger in front of him and he jumped right on.. and just sat there waiting for me to snap the picture.. then I put him on one of the rocks beside a dime I had in my pocket.. just so you could see the size compared to something familiar. I suppose my pond will be crawling with these little things soon enough.. *sigh* THEN what do I do with them?? why

That is the CUTEST little thing!!!

I don't envy you the numbers you will have, but I'd sure like a couple of them by pond pond when it's up and running!

Helping the world one seed at a time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

Bleh, yeah, I don't even want to think of the number of froggies we are going to have.. wow. But we have a creek running thru our property.. we will just take them down there I am sure.

And so far, they are staying out of our way.. none underfoot yet.. at least not that I know of. lol
