A friend of mine just gave me 12 ornamental grass "clumps". Actually they are all clumbed together right now. They are so pretty.
They have very narrow leaves that are varigated green with a wide center white stripe. The individual clumps are not distinguishable one from another from a casual glance. They do not stand upright nor do they fall in an organized pattern so it looks very chaotic and just great.
That's not much to go on I know but it's all I have at the moment. Oh, she said they like shade.
I'm thrilled with them no matter what they are called.
Oh and they are a ground cover. That may go without saying but I know very little about ornamental grasses so I thought I better add it.

TK so happy for you--it is always such fun to receive an unexpected gift!! good luck with them.--and i have no idea what they might be called--my experience with grasses is little to none.
