An idea for garden accessories -- Our town does a free trash pick up once a year. Takes the city forever to come pick up, so us dumpster-divers have a field day!! I scooped up planters, a cute wire basket thingy I'll stick a small plant in and hang, and a couple of WONDERFUL pieces of decorative fencing - about 10 ft in total. It is truly amazing what people will discard. I would have picked up the wicker love seat but couldn't fit it in my car!
I read another post about Free Cycle - which is also a great way to get garden things. I picked up enough free windows to build a nice
greenhouse (someday!).
