Saw these running up and down the bark of my crape myrtle.

those look like ants, i cant realy tell from the pic, their so small

Yeah Christy, I thought so too. There are various kinds of ants though. Sure hope they are not doing any damage anywhere on any of my plants. They were on the crape myrtle tree doing whatever they do.

maybe they were collecting leaves for their fungus? ewwwwwwww! lolshure glad im not a ant
