I have some gladiolus
seeds. They are fresh.I just picked them this morning and should be dry enough end of week for shipping. From experiance.they'll sprout within 2 weeks& will bloom the following year.I got some
seeds from Africa once we're a different type of glad..like a wild type. They recomended planting in sept.lighting and night temps are lower then.If you we're to grow them in a pot.I would use a deeper pot.mine started off fine, but negleted them for 3 days and they roasted.I had 4 left.I guess the roots have to develope their crone.Glads are hardy to
zone 6 with mulch. They are easy to overwinter stored in peat.
They are off my orange/yellow gladiolus.I think I learned something too.I can move a sprouted glad before blooming and delay its blooming by moveing it for a later bloom.
I'll split the
seeds so are 2 offers& will have some off the later blooming one....later.
