I went to Check on them a while ago And I just found out the little girl that visited the village has a twin sister and they both will be attending the celebration!!!

Ohhh Yes Shirely party decorations are planned and different gathering areas and a Fireworks area, and there will be some dancing too!! ~~ and praying for NO Rain!! The twins have already arrived but one of them is lazier than the one that already visited!!

The Willy Village is busy tonight, making arrangements for tomarrow's celebration!! They are scurring around giving instruction to each other and Praying for No rain!! Tomarrow is a big day nor just for the 4th of July But most importantly to Celebrate 10 years of the Garden Helper.
They reallly wanted to talk to Wild Willy Directly. But I told them He is Verrrry busy up there on Cedar Hill, entertaining some very important guests and will be celebrating along with us!! That made them Happy to know we all will be celebrating at the same time!!
Sooo Tomarrow all the Willy's will be dancing, and have a big party!! Yipeeeeeeeee

Well Next year Wreenie they will be put to good use I promise!!! matter of fact when the "twin" girls came to visit the Village for the celebration they in fact brought a few of them with them!!!!

The Tower House has been celebrating all after noon
While others ate so much they had to take a nap on the picnic table and bench! Ohhhh I see one of the twins is waking up and they are starting to gather for some safe fireworks!!

The Plants are fine Christy! Good thing I planted 85% sedum in the rock tower it got up to 105 today heat index 112 The Willy Village is seeking shelter from the heat. I took them out some Ice today and Invited them in and they said Nooooo ma'am We have to be out here to watch things Ya know? I have found a table and well two tables but they can also be folded into a lounge chair But its Just toooo hot to have a gathering right now , But rest assure we will get more pictures soon!!!! I'll let everyone know you asked about them , that will please them to no end!!

angelblossom, how do you keep your Willys from being knocked over and broken. You know one of mine had his legs amputated.
I remember the one you had with the legs amputated, is he still in the container pot? or is he in another cool place?
The only one of mine that has suffered really is the original runnin' willy that lost an hand during a horrid storm. Some have ripped clothes, some have scraped knees, while others are sunburned and have notches in their hats, But they never complain and just keep on keeping on , full filling their garden duties. On the other hand I have to keep Emmy away from the Willy village. I found a wee willy face down in the middle of the yard while I was mowing I just happen to look down in front of the mower 2 ft and there he lay!! I knew it had to be Emmy. So I picked him up and cleaned him off and showed him to Emmy and said EMMY NO!!!! and I put him back at the Village and Put GranPooBah Willy Up front and Center to keep Emmy from carrying off another willy! Other than Emmy trying to play with them they pretty much stay where they are assigned! :wink:
Christy I saw 2 wee willys under the bridge today, One was sleeping and the other was in the stream cooling off!

It has Been sooo hot here after all the rain we got this season , we knew the mild temp's would soon be gone. Now we're back to the typical Texas Sweltering heat of August.
The Rock Tower Willy Village has done a tremendous Job , dealing with spring storms, and torrential rains, and then ..., Humid Heat in the triple digits. Deserving of a "Chill'in Party " they had a little pool party today. The bigger Willys opted to let the Wee Willys have their pool party first , which was very kind of them considering the Wee Willys had to take more steps to get where they're going and it was much more difficult for them to climb the tower, because of their short legs and arms, but they never complained . Very nice of the larger Willys wasn't it? ALthough a few larger willys did join the party because after all they have worked side by side all spring and summer and besides the wee Willys wanted them there too!!
When I went to join them later this afternoon I would have to say A few of them were rather tipsy. I didn't know there was going to be an open bar!!
Check this out........... those Willys know how to chill for a Party! a couple of them had even fell asleep ( or maybe passed out )floating in the pool

I walked up on GrandPooBah bartending and he had just mixed a Hot Damn Drink with a double cherry twist for Miss Willy
Now Smoke'in Willy is content with his own bottle of JB ( *HEyyyyyyyy Cindy Your Bottle is over here!* ). a bowl of chips and his pipe. He is truely just chill'in and watching the fun and play! :wink:

OMG Diane - you are toooooooooooooooo good!!! I just love the Willy party - and that bar is fantastic!!! I'm so glad to see the Willys enjoying themselves in that horrific heat you're having. Everyone was having a great time!! One of the twin girls had exhausted herself swimming all afternoon and was napping on the air mattress. I bet she'll be really hungry when she wakes! The rest of the Willys were splashing and laughing and was just loving it! matter of fact a larger Willy stepped into the pool, Silly willy didn't even take off his shoes!! (I wonder how many drinks he had?) He was talking with Praying Willy who was standing outside the pool on the other side. Praying willy was looking at the water more and more thinking it should would be nice to dive right in!!!! Yesssss ... He said " I'm gonna just dive right on in!!!!" The other big Willy said "Come on in the water is great!!!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Yells Reader of the rules Willy!! "It says Right here on this very page that you Praying Willy are much too large for this pool and besides there are two sleeping Wee Willys floating in there and it's much tooooo dangerous,, Right Here it spells it out You absolutey cannot dive into that pool! Besides you would knock yourself out , it's much too shallow for you!!!!! On this page it says>>>>> Never dive into shallow waters! NEVER!!

Everyone managed to quickly get out of the pool, and GrandPooBah rushed from behind the bar, and grabbed up the two sleeping (< Knocked out drunk ) Wee willys.
Praying Willy backed up about 10 feet to get a good lead run on his dive. I was thinking *I should call the medics! * (* Hey Wrennie..I may need your medics again!!!!*) another Rule in Reader of the rules Book Willy ... Never drink and dive!
Praying Willy took off running picking up speed again I'm thinking ..(*This crazy Willy is really going to do this! *)
"Look out" Cries One Hand Runnin Willy "He's going for it!!!!!"
Everyone backed up and took one more shot of their drink and Praying Willy approaches the pool with his hands in position for diving and an ernest determination in his eye,,
He is just one last step from diving in and suddenly stops and says..........

At first everyone wasn't very happy with him EXCEPT laughing willy ( Go back and look at the pictures He is chuckling( He knew all along He wasn't going to dive in,,,,,, and Bigger Willy already in the pool knew it too! After all He could have grabbed the sleeping willys and didn't !
Okay Okay IT just shows that even Praying Willys can be jokesters too! What a party !!!! after everyone else started laughing about it the party got back on track!

Well Well We had a welcome surprise at the rock tower today!
Seems head nod wink'in Willy has been making plans to surprise One hand runn'in willy!! ( What is it with this guy?? most of the surpises are for him! ) He was informed thru a postcard in the game room that a long past friend of Onehand running willy was going to be passing thru town on his move to another location, and made arrangements for the surprise guest and O.H.Running willy to meet up,,after all they hadn't seen each other for a close to 52 years. The guest got in town this morning ( I only found out because Emmy was barking in that area of the yard so I went to investigate).. ON a Hushed down low I met the Guest....
They were discussing how to get O.H. running willy to pass by Rosewood to see if he would recognise him,..but Rosewood needn't worry about recognising One hand Because... welllll..... He was the only one in the Entire Rock Tower Willy Village with just One Hand :wink:
HeadNod Winkin' willy decided he'd send Onehand over the bridge to the south end of the yard to fetch some Heavenly blue Mg seeds that are ready to harvest, and Seeing that ONe hand is quick on his feet and loves harvesting seeds ~ not a problem !!

Rosewood was in postition and waited for the signal to Cross over the Bridge as Onehand was crossing over from the other end. The signal was given and now we'd see if Onehand would recognise his friend from soooo sooooooo long ago,, they were very very close like brothers and had learned much in gardening together, * back ground on Rosewood*--> (Rosewood was/is a free spirited Gnome who ventured out on his own, After nearly 52 years he has determined it is time to find a place and settle in for the rest of his years and he had searched all over for the perfect area,, It didn't matter to him if it was hot, cold, windy, snowing, mountains, or lowland,, But the main thing is,,,, IT has to be a magical place or he won't stay too long,, so now he's passing thru on his way north west to continue his search,,)
Soo the crossing begins...OneHand politely nods he's head in good gesture and says "Good Day!!" as he see an approaching stranger,( The fall that he lost his hand in also knock him out for a few mintues and his vision isn't what it used to be! )

"OOhhh Rosewood " said Onehand " There is a magical land high in the hills called CedarHill where there is mountains ,streams and water falls all round and even a hollowed out log deep in the forest where Wild Willy lives. My friend is taking me to go meet Wild Willy,, She has told me soo many cool stories about it and has shown me pictures Welllll she showed the whole village pictures,,, I understand there is a special lady human friend that lives there now too with the Human Man called Bill who is Wild Willy's bestest Friend, and I heard that the Human named Bill calls the lady friend "CindyBear" sometimes, and that she has a lot of accidents like me! I think her and I will be good friends too!! "( * laughter coming from writer right now! *)

I already told them I was planning on going to Cedar Hill and they all got together and drew up a grass blades lottery ~longest blade won,, just happens that OneHand Won. I knew he won cuz even in the house I heard his wee voice say "I WIN!"and everyone else just cheered him on and gave him advice about traveling by plane, even tho only 5 others had ever traveled by plane , they all thought to give advice
