I have only a few tomato plants---However;

I need to ask: is there anything special I need to be doing with my Cherokee Purple or my Rutgers?? I have not ever planted either of thee varieties before. I am especially anxious to get the CP right so I can see if I like eating it.

I imagine they'll be like any other tomato plant. . . . frugal watering every other day or every 3rd day & DEEEEEP watering. . . Pluck the sappers & fertilize accordingly. Cant think of anything special beyond the norm. . ?
