The first one looks like oregano, it a bigger version of the greek oregano, at least we used to call it that back home. If it has a "oregany" smell when you pinch it, i thing that's what it is. The rest i am clueless.

If you haven't got all the things you want, be grateful for the things you don't have that you don't want.

Hi everyone....

thanx for all da input... wow i have n oregano in my garden...!? to think i had been trying to get one growing but didnt realize i have one...if it really is oregano that is... hmm dulcimie180... r oregano leaves kind of thick n stiff... rather hard n stiff..?? the leaves of this plant r... never really smelt oregano... but this plant has a rather strong 'fragrance'....

JunieGirl... dunno if it is a relative of Catnip... i do have Catnip in my garden...seeds from eclo... da shape of da leaves r abt da same but catnip leaves r much much smaller n kind of velvety... n da leaves of this plant r hard n stiff.... da smell emm i really m not good at differentiating their smell...think they r similar yet different...ughh!! m i making sense..? this plant has stronger smell i think..

yep zuzu...u got it right again s always..!! thanx millions..now i know itz botanical name...i know it in my language...itz a culinary herb n supposed to have some medicinal value too...but i've never used it myself in my cooking...never tried n dunno how to..LOL!!

Thanx again everyone...n have a nice day!!

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
