I went to pick out shrub roses and just sniffed until I found the most fragrant of what they had. I had a different idea in my head but ended up with Winnipeg Park. It is dark pink (called red but it is pink) and semi double. It is supposed to bloom all year and be very hardy. I am putting it on my border line at the end of my row of Chinese lilacs. There was room there where the lilacs stopped but there was nothing but struggling grass. So I hope I am happy with this choice. Does anyone have this rose?

Hello;

Yes, I have 6 of the shrub roses. Mine are bright yellow
and are in bloom now and will be for about a month or two.

If you deadhead them they will produce more buds and bloom
longer.
