Gift exchange
You bring or buy here, a gift that is suitable for any of the campers. Wrap it up, gift bag is ok. Then we randomly pick out of a hat each participating person. You go to the pile of gifts and pick a gift and open it. Trading is OK at the end. This is not limited to just TGH members, family can play too.

Have a favorite recipe to share? Bring copies to share.
Plant, seeds, cuttings Exchange
(remember plants cant go over the border I dont think.

Knitting & crocheting tips help and lessons.
Lynne and I are here to help with patterns stitches or getting started. You can bring supplies or we can shop here. Check with your airlines for what is permissable to bring on a flight.
There are a couple of places in town where you can use a computer to 'phone home' or add to our camp journal. We have wireless in town too.
Sign up if you want a postcard from all the campers.

Ooooh ooooh another idea! Theres a shirt I can order in that says what happens at camp stays at camp. If everyone wants one tell me your size, I'll get some fabric pens and we can all go home with a tee signed by everyone who was here???
I'll just ask you buy the tee at what it costs me wholesale. Cant afford to buy them for everyone. (about $9 each)

2) Is there anything I can do to help out, like creative-wise...like make name-tags or something?
3) remember the joke from one of the first threads that I would be supplying all the veggies? Well, would I be able to send you a bunch of seeds that you can hand out to all the campers, or something? I have a bunch, most on my current trade list, that if it doesn't go in the next few weeks, my mom's making me throw out..

Ummm... I think I remember [when I checked a while back] it being about a 2.5 - 3 hour drive.. However far it is from new York City..

Wrennie, I want a post card, the gnome shirt (is it 9.00 too?) AND a camp shirt!!! I will send you the money for both shirts but don't send them until the camp shirt is all signed!! Please! I really love that camp shirt!!!

Anyone who wants to send seeds as a campers gift {sorry I cant be there gift} Could you somehow mark who they're from? a return address label, a sharpie, your screen name and real name too if you want. That way whoever takes them knows the {{yadda}} in their garden was a gift from [whoever] from camp.

Mark no running away allowed. But yes Adirondak Trailways goes from port authority to Phoenicia.

Shirley I will find out the exact cost of the shirts probably sometime today, then yes you can send money and seeds all at once.

It shouldn't be more then a 3 hour drive/ride... even if i only stay for a few hours..

Well, If I take the Adirondak Trailways bus from the Port Authority in the City, I'll arrive at Morne Imports on Main Street in Phoenicia in about 3 hours, it says..

Yes I have them ordered. Seems alot of kids are getting into the gnomes, thanks travelocity! :LOL: And there are a few summer camps for kids up here. So those should do well too. I wish I had more room for tees. That company has some really good ones.

As long as I can get my mom to:
1) buy the tickets via credit card for me
2) let me get on the bus going halfway across the state by myself
3) ...in about a week and a half [have to buy the tickets at least 10 days before date]

, I'll be fine!

I may get lost finding your store though...

When you get off the bus, oh wait, I think the city bus actually lets off in front of the gas station, then you just cross the street, watch for cars!, and walk straight ahead, and you will walk headlong into my door.

Its about impossible to get lost in Phoenicia. Town is so small you could only be lot for about 10 minutes.
