After they have finished flowering and are beginning to turn brown can I cut them down? That way I would have more room for what is currently flowering. Thank you for your information in advance.

I used a tomato cage, the triangle kind that could open flat, to hold mine up and back from the other plants. I think thy need their green leaves to feed themselves for winter dormmancy.
