MY, my...busy as a bee! Looks great! I have a question, though....it looks like you planted without killing or digging up the grass. Have you had success doing that before? Usually the grass just ends up coming right on through the top soil.
I dug up the grass by hand with a shovel, then spaded it, then my husband brought topsoil from the field and I filled it in with that and then I tilled in some ammendments. Lots of manual work! But it has worked for me, rather than killed the grass first.
Night pictures. I finally bought some solar lights - 12 of them. They look soooo pretty at night! Just took these pictures tonight. I love looking at the pictures in order of just digging to current. Look back at the first pictures to now, pretty neat! The old wagon tires are a new purchase too.
My first Black-Eyed Susan bloom! First year for these. I started these from seed and have LOTS of them!
I have never liked marigolds, they smell, but every fall I see they are one of the last to keep color in the yard before the snow, so I started a bunch from seed. They still smell, but look at the bright colors they give at night!
