In about a month my family and I are moving from a 1/2 acre corner lot that includes 26 huge pine trees, to 15 acres in another town. There is absolutely nothing growing on the property where the house is except grass. The front yard will consist of roughly one acre. The adventure of beginning from scratch is exciting, but I am finding myself overwhelmed with deciding what should go where. I began drawing out some ideas, and immediately remembered why I am a gardener rather than an artist...even my stickmen are lopsided. I was wondering if anyone knows of software or websites that I can play around with to get some perspective on this exciting, yet daunting adventure before me.

Home and Gardens website has what you are looking for. But I do better with graphpaper lol. And I'm no artist either. rubgyhkr did a nice layout of my garden plot for me.

With a hole acre are you going to go with a 4 season garden with water feature?

Wow.. what fun!! And I have used the one at Better Homes and Gardens website.. is that the one you meant TKHooper??

There are three buttons there once the page loads.. *kicks slow dial up* I used the middle one.. Plan A Garden.. but the bottom one might be cool too! Have fun with it!! I loved it!

Keep us posted as to how things are coming along!! wavy
