Hi:

The leaves on my 3 year old gardenia are a washed-out pale light green. Need some help identifying the problem and suggesting a solution.

Most likely it's a nutrient problem, possibly an iron deficiency. Fertilize with an acidic fertilizer (like the ones meant for azaleas) and/or use a liquid iron solution like Ironite.
