As a child, I used to pick its fruits. They're sweet and has very small seeds (resembling fish roe). The fruit is about 1.5cm. The leaves are about 5cm in length. I couldn't photograph the whole tree though, 'cos I didn't my camera with me. So, I just took some sample of the leaves and fruits. Does anybody know what this plant is? The link is:

Photos 20 and 21. ;)

No, it's too small (1.5cm) to be Pomegranate.

Thanks, Norhaini. Actually, here, it's also known as Cherry, but I'd like to know its botanical name. ;)

If the fruit is mostly seed, and the bark is deeply wrinkled, it is a Hackberry tree.

The first thing that pops into my head is Amelanchier (Serviceberry), is it that?

Thanks, anyway. ;)
