While weeding yesterday, I discovered these.

Would they pose a problem for the plants? Anyone into mushrooms, can identify etc. etc?

I thought the same thing Penny. I'm wondering if they are poisoneous or what kind of mushrooms they are. Guess I'll google "mushrooms". Wondering if that is a good thing to see them in my garden. Actually, they are in a potted plant. Anyone here know anything about "garden mushrooms"?

I can't identify them from the picture but I know they are not edible. Anyway I would remove them to keep the plants clean and airier.

mushrooms are one plant that should only be gathered by an expert.

there are many poisonous varieties that look VERY similar to edibles.

the only exception is Morels, there is nothing poisonous that look like those delicacies.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Tamara, thanks. I am going to remove them. Didn't know if they were healthy for my plants but it appears not from what you said. I suppose it's safe to handle them?

RugbyHukr, thanks. I would NEVER eat these things. Would not take a chance like that.
